GROUND ATTACK

A MAN has been charged with assaulting the ground in Melbourne today.


The man, believed to be aged in his eighties, fell to the ground in Flagstaff Gardens leaving a slight dent.

A witness who saw the man assault the ground said he had never seen anything like it.

“The man had no mercy. He just went straight into the ground", he said.

Police are urging any other witness to come forward.
